The subscription of a public liability insurance is mandatory in France, even for temporary rentals. Some insurance companies provide, in your main dwelling policie, the extension to the holiday accommodation, free or at a few euros cost. If you have already signed a main dwelling policie, please ask your company for information.

We strongly reccommend also to take out an insurance to cover any costs of cancellation stay.
